My Life
"Inspiration does not come like a bolt, nor is it kinetic, energetic striving, but it comes into us slowly and quietly and all the time, though we must regularly and every day give it a little chance to start flowing, prime it with a little solitude and idleness." ~ Brenda Ueland
This morning I'm reading a review on the ballet, Woolf's Works. I'm as far away from going to a ballet as I am from opera, but the reviewer's language was so perfect I could be persuaded. If the ballet is anything as good as the writing, the debate whether words are needed in ballet is moot. The production sounds amazing.
I guess I should finish the article to see the answer to that.

Ps. From Northern Exposure, a tv series we watched back in the day that was set in Alaska, "It's not the thing you fling; the fling's the thing," I say, it's not the scenery we saw but the people we saw it with. That's the thing. But of this blog of a lone woman there are no photos of others, even though those are the best photos I have.
